Although I have been only a member of this group for a few weeks, I can truly appreciate the immense work, enthusiasm, commitment and spirit that is contributed in perpetuating the discovery of history, and subsequently one’s self. This has been particularly so of those I have dealt with on this site. Whilst I, as with Jill, have not had the pleasure of meeting with or communicating with Rob personally, I have had the opportunity to explore his contributions, the content of which has been immeasurable in my exploration. Consequently, I would like to personally thank Rob for all his work, and acknowledge his family, of whom support I am confident has been critical in his contributions. I read in an earlier posting that people join this group for many reasons – one of these, undoubtedly is to discover the richness of their past, and to perform that personal process of enriching their identity’s and their self’s. I believe Rob’s work to be a legacy to us all, and that he has likely touched us all and helped us to truly discover our self’s. My thoughts are with you Rob! John Livingston |
