Hello Livingstone Kin, 

I am sorry to learn of Robert's passing. It was not my privilege to know him well or to have met him, but from our e-mail contacts, I feel like we shared a common bond of kinship and friendship as Morvern/Isle of Lismore Livingstone descendants. It is a great measure of the quality of the man, that despite his illness he took the time to answer my queries and those of many others.  

Niall no doubt has fond memories of working with Robert on the Highland Livingstone research over the years. Though he is no longer with us, his contribution to this site will live on and continue to benefit Highland Livingstone family researchers discovering their ancestral roots in the future. I hope that at this sad time Robert's family can draw some comfort from this.
