It was with sadness that I read of Rob's death although I knew that his time was running out. He had helped me so much with my Livingstone ancestors as well as my Carmicheal ancestors. He was a caring and helpful man and so willing and eager to give what information he had to others. I have lost a friend as many others have. We had E-Mailed each other from October, 1998 until he sent his message closing his web site. We always ended our E-Mails, Cousin Rob, Cousin Joy. I send my sympathy to his entire family and especially to his mother. To lose a child anytime would be hard but to lose two sons to cancer in about three yers would be so very hard. My thoughts and prayers are with them. Your father was also so very helpful to me in giving me information about my Livingstone ancestors.
