Hi

I'd be grateful for any information on my Livingstone's!

My GGGG grandmother Catherine Livingstone was born about 1839 in Greenock, Renfrew and married Nicol McIntye Campbell, b. 26 March 1836 in Kilfinichen & Kilvickeon, Ise of Mull.  They had 6 children:

Christina B Campbell (b. abt 1870)
Donald Campbell (b. abt 1872)
Martin Livingston Campbell (b. abt 1873)
Nicol Campbell (b. abt 1875)
Anne Livingston Campbell (b. abt 1878)
John Livingston Campbell (b. 03/07/1879) (my ggg grandfather)

Nicol McIntye Campbell and Catherine Livingstone were first cousins when they married and appear in the tree twice.  Her father was Donald Livingston (b. 24/11/1799) and mother Elizabeth Beaton, (b. 21/01/1808).

I'd be most grateful if anyone had any information regarding these Livingstone's as I am having trouble finding their marriage records and any details regarding Catherine family from Greenock.  I know that Nicol Campbell travelled to Greenock in his 20's which are where he met and married Catherine.

In addition, my grandmother was convinced that there is a link to Dr David Livingstone but am can't seem to find where!

Any information on this side of my family would be gratefully received.

Kind regards
Kevin Campbell-Scott
