Title: Lismore Livingstones Where did they go before 1841?

Looking at the 1841 Census one is struck by dramatic decrease in Livingstone families on the Island of Lismore. There is the family at Bachuil including Coll Livingstone and Alexander Livingstone. But outside of Bachuil there is Dan Livingstone at Balemacilichan, Ian Livingston at Auchguaran,Duncan Livingston at Balure, a couple of widows at Creganich and Salen and not whole lot more in way of Livingstone families.

Before 1800 there were Livingstone families at Bachuil, Creganich, Cloichlea,Bailevolan,Bailegarth,Frackensaig,Salen, and Archuaran on the Isle of Lismore according to the parish baptismal records. Many of Livingstones from these communities that appear in the early baptismal records apparently left Lismore for other parts of Scotland or went to North America or Australia/New Zealand sometime between 1791 and 1841 presumingly.
