Title: Gravestone transcriptions for Livingston
Posted by: Jewel Brown
Date: 07 December 2008

This was just sent to me from Rootsweb mailing list for Scioto County, Ohio.  Haven't had time to digest it yet but maybe someone like Donald who is more familiar with this family could give a better explanation.

Gravestone transcription from the "Old Wheelersburg Cemetery"

1. Catharine Livingston daughter of H&R Livingston, January 10, 1862 - September 4, 1867.

2. Catharine Livingston widow of Duncan died September 30, 1855 age 83 years

I'm not familiar with the first Catharine but I think the parents initials might be a clue, H&R.  The second Catharine I would say is the same Catharine that was found living with Duncan (1850-1910) in the 1850 census. So could this Catharine and her husband Duncan be the parents of Angus, Archart, John, Duncan?   Jewel
