Does anyone have any LIVINGSTON/LIVINGSTONE connections to Cheshire, England?  I have traced my Mary Anne LIVINGSTONE back to her christening, 4 June, 1809, Gee Cross Unitarian, Hyde, Cheshire, England. She is listed in the IGI batch# C043051.  Her parent's are listed as Alexander and Anne LIVINGSTONE.  I know there is another child, Jennet, listed as born to this couple.  By the 1841 census for Audenshaw, Ashton Under Lyne, Lancashire, England, Mary Anne is married to Joseph TAYLOR.  She has 4 children and her mother Ann is living with her.  I can't seem to get any further back than this.  I have not been able to find any marriage record for Alexander LIVINGSTONE and Ann ?.  I don't know if this family of LIVINGSTONE's originated in Scotland.

Thanks for any assistance.

Margaret
