Title: Livingstones and similar of Angus/Forfar

I have continued to develop a pretty complete picture of all the Livingstones of Angus/Forfar as part of research into my own Livingstones. See:

I dream that one day it will help me pin down candidates for DNA comparisons which might make the difference in rejecting or pursuring the most likely theories.

I have found that the surname LIVESTON is pretty interesting in this regard. Although this spelling was once very common in America, Ireland, and Scotland, in Scotland it narrowed down to a few families in the second half of the 19th century (when people learned to spell and mostly corrected their spelling to Livingston or Livingstone).

Best Regards
Andrew
