Clan Crest Badge - Young Bachuil

This is Young Bachuil's Clan crest badge.  Given to him as a child by his father it has since been superseded by the more recent matriculation.

This shows St Moluag, holding the Bachuil Mor and a Cinquefoil.  The new badge replaces the cinquefoil with a cross-crosslet fitchee.

It differs from a clansman’s badge inasmuch as this has no belt and buckle, has a baronial chapeau and the two eagle feathers of a chieftain.  The Chief wears three feathers and Young Bachuil, as the senior chieftain wears two.

Some Purists would say that even Young Bachuil should have the belt.
